Behind ‘Stadtgefühle- Das Zukunftsfest’ is a colourful planning team made up of committed people of different ages, backgrounds, experiences, origins and nationalities. What unites us all is the vision of a sustainable Mainz that is characterised by social cohesion, living democracy and sustainability. To bring this to life, we are organising a festival for and with Mainz residents that invites people to empathise, think and participate – in workshops, talks, discussions, music, performances and much more. In order to organise the festival, we are working in various working groups, whether finance, technology, location or public relations, to create a well-rounded overall concept. Everyone can contribute, expand and experiment with their skills. Collaboration thrives on exchanging ideas and learning from each other. The project is organised by the association Mainz nachhaltig verbinden e. V., which has been in existence since 2024 and has set itself the task of working towards a sustainable, socially just and liveable future.
